Keepreel

Privacy policy

Effective 25 October 2026. Applies to Keepreel for Windows and for Android (package com.nktools.keepreel), published by NK Tools.

Keepreel moves your video library from Vimeo to a storage bucket you own. This page explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. You don't need an account with us, we run no server for the app, and we don't sell your personal information.

Your keys stay on your device

The Vimeo personal access token and the storage keys you enter (Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2 or Bunny Storage) are kept in your operating system's secure storage on your device. The list of your videos and their move status is kept in a file in the app's own folder on your device. None of this is sent to us.

Where your videos go

When you move videos, the app talks directly to:

Video files are kept temporarily on your device while each video is processed and deleted once it has been uploaded. Keepreel is not affiliated with Vimeo, Cloudflare, Backblaze or Bunny.

Your published videos

Videos are published at addresses in your own bucket that contain a long random key. Anyone who has a link can watch that video; the links are not password-protected. The player page asks search engines not to index it. You can remove a video at any time by deleting its folder in your bucket.

Pro licence on Windows (Lemon Squeezy)

Keepreel Pro is sold by our reseller Lemon Squeezy. The checkout page inside the app is Lemon Squeezy's own page; your payment details go directly to Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors, and we never see them. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.

When you activate, check or free a seat, the app sends Lemon Squeezy your licence key and your computer's name (to label the seat), and receives an activation ID. After activation the app checks the key in the background when it starts; if you are offline, Pro keeps working.

Advertising on Android (Google AdMob)

Keepreel for Android is free and shows optional rewarded videos (to move 5 more videos) and occasional full-screen ads after a batch of videos has moved, through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later on the app's Connect screen under Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Android settings. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

The Windows version shows no ads.

This website

This site uses no analytics and sets no cookies. The demo video loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play; YouTube may then set cookies under its own policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Children

Keepreel is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security and retention

All connections to Vimeo, your storage provider, Lemon Squeezy and Google are encrypted (HTTPS). Data held by those services is kept according to their policies. Your keys and video list stay on your device until you remove them or uninstall the app.
